Kester Black is an Australian beauty brand that produces ethical, sustainable cosmetics and skincare.

Established in 2012 by Anna Ross, Kester Black is redefining the beauty industry by creating beautiful, quality products with a positive social and environmental footprint. The company is formed by their core values with sustainability at the very top of the list.

Here are just a few ways they put their commitment to sustainability into practice:

Firstly, while no nail polish can ever be fully free of chemicals, their 10-Free™ brand does not contain many of the ‘nasties’ usually found. This includes no animal derived or tested ingredients.

Manufacturing Practices

Secondly, sustainable production methods are used to utilise recyclable materials and small batch manufacturing. Also to minimise wastage. Therefore, their entire product line is Australian made, vegan, and cruelty free.

Also, Kester Black use as much recyclable packaging as possible. Due to this, a recycling system in the office is also in place. Paper, cardboard, and plastics are separated and recycled.

You can read about more of their values HERE.

Most noteworthy – they are committed to donating 2% of revenue including in-kind donations to registered charities every year.
