Yet, in the modern world mothering can be fast paced, overwhelming and full of guilt and stress. As a result, we find ourselves seeking mothering wisdom from external sources and feeling as though we must have missed some vital pieces of the puzzle.
As we step into each stage of mothering we need time, space and stillness to expand into the mother we want to be; the opportunity to reflect on what motherhood brings up in us, to heal and have compassion for our experiences. Without this space our days feel less and less what we desire from our mothering experience.
